TrendHR’s client is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role supports daily warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory control, material handling, and shipping/receiving. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inventory management using RF scanners and warehouse systems
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and forklifts (preferred)
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities and documentation
  • Safely handle materials and perform heavy lifting as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks and pallet jacks
  • Utilize inventory and order systems (AS400/WMS preferred)
  • Support production or distribution operations as needed
Qualifications
  • Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems preferred
  • Ability to lift up to [insert weight] lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety practices
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus
